Rather than accept the limitations of his surroundings, the rapper consistently aims much higher. Generating millions of streams and views on his own and landing a deal with Gucci Mane’s The New 1017, he amplifies the voice of his city on his forthcoming 2023 debut and much more to come.
The Mobile, AL native has taken a page out of Atlanta legend Gucci Mane’s book by consistently dropping back to back music. Li Rye has released over 15 new videos this year as he continues to feed fans with consistent music and video releases.
“Li Rye vs Li Reezy” served as the first single off his upcoming debut albumLi Rye vs Li Reezy set to release on Dec. 8.

Mac Critter may often conceal his face with a signature ski mask, but it only draws more attention to his voice and his story. The Memphis rapper flaunts a fiery flow punctuated by a croaky cadence, woozy inflection, and quotable rhymes. He channels trials and tribulations into a tight and tough style of his own. Generating millions of streams and views and attracting Gucci Mane and The New 1017 to his corner, he puts his stamp on the game with a series of singles and his debut project, HIM, in 2023. He angled himself towards a breakthrough by releasing music at a prolific clip of “damn-near a project per month” and generating over 3 million views and counting.
